Bois Cheri, Crocodile Park and Saint Aubin
Wednesday
At Bois Cheri, you will be charmed by the beauty of its lush greenery and the inner refreshing atmosphere of this region. In the course of a visit through the tea plantation, you will have the opportunity to see its factory and museum. Then have a tea-break up the hills where the view over the South is breathtaking. Your next stop will be at the Crocodile park and nature reserve to discover monkeys, bats, giant tortoises and other animals from the region. Lunch will be served at the Saint Aubin house in a nice setting of times bygone. To end the day your guide will bring you to an anthurium greenhouse and a vanilla plantation.

Croisieres Turquoises - South East Coast
Thursday and Saturday
Sunny cruises on board of one of the luxurious catamarans of Croisieres Turquoises, departing from La Croix due Sud Hotel in Pointe Jerome. Wind your way through a cluster of islets home of the various sea birds, along the still wild south-east coast, across the ‘Vieux Grand Port’ where echoes of canons and naval battles still hang in the air. You will then visit the waterfalls of the ‘Grande Riviere Sud Est’. It is in this most natural setting that you will savour an appetising buffet lunch on board whilst enjoying the peaceful scenery. Arriving at Ile Aux Cerfs, you will be able to relax and enjoy its turquoise lagoon and golden sandy beaches. Embarks Le Preskil Hotel.

Friday
Enjoy a puff of fresh air. Feast your eyes on the panoramic view from the top of ‘Trou Aux Cerfs’, an extinct volcano about 700,000 years old. Brief stop in the town centre of Curepipe of visit a ship model factory and for some shopping. Before lunch, you will proceed to Grand Bassin, a sacred lake for pilgrims of the Hindu community. Only a stone throw from this mystical site are the Black River Gorges, Chamarel and its coloured earth.
