Summary
Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa occupies the Le Morne peninsula in the south west of Mauritius, with the lagoon on one side and the fairways of its own golf course on the other. The dramatic Le Morne Brabant Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rises behind the resort, and the grounds are among the most spacious in the Beachcomber portfolio, lush and garden-filled throughout. Guests also enjoy full use of the neighbouring Dinarobin Beachcomber's facilities, with a shuttle service running between the two.
Accommodation
All rooms, suites and villas face the sea. The line-up opens with Paradis rooms in bay view and beachfront positions, moves up through the Junior Suites, and reaches the elegant beachfront options: the Paradis Suites and the larger Senior Suites, which sit only steps from the sand and come with a separate lounge and dressing area, a good fit for couples wanting complete privacy.
At the top of the range are 13 villas, among them the Villa Paradis and the Presidential Villa, the resort's most spacious and private accommodation.
Every room and suite has a private bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, individually controlled air-conditioning, satellite television, Wi-Fi, a mini-bar with complimentary water, tea and coffee, a safe and a hairdryer. The premium beachfront suites and villas go further, adding welcome amenities and reserved sun loungers on the beach.
Dining
Paradis runs four restaurants of its own. Le Brabant is the main restaurant, overlooking the pool and beach; Zest brings Mediterranean cooking with an adjoining bar and lounge; Blue Marlin serves gourmet cuisine with a modern twist; and La Ravanne is an open-air venue specialising in Mauritian cooking.
The four restaurants at the adjoining Dinarobin Beachcomber are also open to guests, giving eight dining venues across the peninsula, and the interchangeability extends across the wider Beachcomber collection. An optional all-inclusive package covers lunch and a selection of beverages.
Facilities & Activities
The resort grounds contain an 18-hole, par 72 championship course with an academy where resident professionals offer tuition, plus a driving range, pro shop and clubhouse, and guests have privileged access to Mont Choisy Le Golf as well.
The water sports programme covers water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, glass-bottom boat trips, pedal boats, snorkelling and scuba diving, while kitesurfing is available at Dinarobin. Ashore there are five floodlit tennis courts, padel, mountain and electric bikes, beach volleyball, football and table tennis, along with a Technogym fitness centre.
The Spa Beachcomber features indoor massage rooms including couple suites, steam baths, outdoor treatment cabins, a yoga platform and beauty and hair salons.
Families are well catered for, with a kids club that has its own swimming pool and a dedicated baby care room.
