Our Opinion
Shandrani is a superb family-friendly All Inclusive resort set on a stunning peninsula with expansive tropical grounds and beaches. The watersports offering is among the best we have seen, with a sheltered lagoon ideal for waterskiing and the chance to learn sailing. A protected marine park nearby provides excellent snorkelling and diving, while the pitch-and-putt golf course weaves through southern beaches and tropical gardens for a rewarding 30-par round.
Marketed as the island's first fully All Inclusive 5-star resort, the rooms are not the most stylish in this category, and the resort's proximity to the airport is sometimes raised as a concern. In practice, however, the aircraft noise rarely bothers guests once they have settled in.
For families, especially those with teenagers who have healthy appetites for good food and non-stop activities, Shandrani is an outstanding choice.
