Originally a coconut grove and later the Colonial Coconut Hotel, the property was transformed in 2005 and renamed after its latitude. It earned Relais & Chateaux membership in 2013 -- the only hotel in Mauritius with this distinction -- and underwent extensive renovations in 2025, emerging as a sanctuary of understated elegance. The resort is adults-only (12+), making it a natural choice for couples seeking calm and connection.
