Our Opinion
LUX* Le Morne is set to close from 1 May 2027 for a full renovation, with reopening planned for 1 November 2027. The work will bring a re-imagined lobby, refreshed guestrooms and public areas, and new dining spaces, while seven additional villas arrive from 1 February 2028.
Set on the south-west coast at Le Morne, the resort sits among tropical gardens beside a white sandy beach. Compact in size, it still packs in a good range of facilities, from land and water sports to lively evening entertainment. Rooms are colonial in style and every one faces the sea. Strong value for money, and a lovely choice for couples and honeymooners.
