Tamassa sits within big, beautifully kept gardens on Mauritius' south coast, and the sense of space hits you as soon as you arrive. It is a proper all-rounder, working well for both families and couples without feeling split or generic.
The swimming pools are sizeable and well placed, and the beach stretches long and sandy, perfect for long walks or just finding a quiet spot. If you want to do more than lounge, there is a solid range of watersports on offer, plus tennis courts and a well-equipped fitness centre for land-based activity.
For a 4-star resort with a genuinely good-value All Inclusive package, Tamassa is hard to beat.
